UBC International Leader of Tomorrow Award: the University of British Columbia invites potential undergraduate applicants to apply for UBC International Leader of Tomorrow Award. International students need to demonstrate excellent academic results, possess leadership in community service or student affairs. Achieve results in performing arts, sports, debating or creative writing, or external academic competitions and examinations.
Deadline: 10 December, 2016
Field of study: all eligible degrees for undergraduate students offered by UBC.

Scholarship value/inclusions: based on your financial needs (tuition fees, living costs, etc.). UBC International Leader of Tomorrow Award can be renewed for up to three additional years if the student achieves satisfactory academic standing in their faculty, continues to demonstrate financial need, and maintains their Canadian study permit.
Eligibility: all international students, applying for UBC International Leader of Tomorrow Award must be nominated by the high school they are currently attending, recently graduated from, or the college/university they are transferring from. You need to talk to your schoolteacher, so they can nominate you for this award. UBC does not send nomination packages directly to students. How to be nominated for the award by your school? You need to:
- be an international student
- enter a UBC undergraduate degree program from a recognized secondary school, college or other university
- apply for your first undergraduate degree
- meet admission criteria to the first choice program you are applying to.
- meet UBC’s English Language Admission Standard (language test)
- have an excellent academic record
- demonstrate a level of financial need and impossibility to attend UBC without the award
Nomination packages must be postmarked by 10 December, 2016. Nominees must also complete the online application for academic admission to UBC by 10 December, 2016 and meet the UBC English Language Admission Requirement by 15 February 2017.
